It is our intention at Takemusu Aikido of Maryland to establish a locally-based program for Veterans suffering from PTSD to find solace and some healing through Aikido training.

We seek funds to support costs associated with hosting a Keganin No Senshi (KNS) Aikido Combat Related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CRPTSD) training team. The team will donate their time, but we still must provide accommodations, food, rental car and airfare for the initial week-end training seminar.

UPDATE: We are now fully certified through KNSA to work with vets suffering with CRPTSD. Additionally, KNSA will help us work with veterans organizations (VFW, American Legion, VA) and fraternal organizations (Elks, Rotary etc) to continue support for kinesthetic therapy via Aikido.

For more information on the KNSA program, please go to www.keganinnosenshi.org.
